  3. Transfer the dry ingredients into the bowl containing the wet ingredients. Mix them until you achieve a nice even rose colour.
  4. Transfer the mixture into your bath bomb moulds and press them together. Make sure you don't leave any space, as it may cause your CBD bath bombs to crack or break.
  5. Leave the mixture in the moulds for 8-10 hours to set.
  6. After 8-10 hours, carefully remove your bath bombs from the moulds.

And there you have it! Your red rose delight CBD bath bombs are ready to use. You can use one straight away and store the rest in a cool, dry place.

Recipe 2: CBD isolate bath bomb recipe

This recipe is for those who want to use the purest form of CBD. It is a simple recipe that yields approximately six bath bombs.

Ingredients

  • 0.3 grams of your preferred CBD isolate
  • 1/2 cup of citric acid
  • 1/2 cup of baking soda
  • 2.5 tbsp of warm coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup of Epsom salt

Tools

  • Bath bomb mould
  • 2 mixing bowls

Instructions

  1. Mix the CBD isolate with warm coconut oil in a single bowl. Add a few drops of your preferred essential oils (optional).
  2. Place the citric acid, baking soda and Epsom salt in a separate bowl.
  3. Transfer the oil mixture (CBD isolate, warm coconut oil, and your preferred essential oils) into the bowl containing the dry ingredients (baking soda, Epsom salt, and citric acid). Do this slowly and gently with your bare hands. Try to moisten the dry ingredients for easy moulding. You can sprinkle on some water to help the mixture to bind properly in the moulds.
  4. Pour the mixture into each half of your bath bomb moulds. Press them together firmly to bind. Make sure there are no extra spaces in the moulds. If necessary, use an ice-cube tray.
  5. Let the mixture sit in the moulds for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove your CBD bath bombs from the moulds and place them on parchment paper. Now you have your CBD isolate bath bombs!

Recipe 3: Eucalyptus and green aloe vera CBD bath bomb recipe

Want to have a cool and soothing bath while getting your daily dose of CBD? This recipe is for you. Eucalyptus contains the chemical elements alpha-terpineol and eucalyptol, which give it a gentle, calming vapour. This helps to regulate your body temperature during and after your bath.

This recipe produces one CBD bath bomb.

Ingredients

  • 11-inch cut from an aloe vera leaf
  • 2 oz of citric acid
  • 1 tsp of water
  • 2 oz of Epsom salt
  • 1.5 tsp of eucalyptus essential oil
  • 1-3 drops of green food colouring
  • 2 oz of cornflour
  • 1/4 tsp of CBD oil
  • 4 oz of baking soda

Tools

  • Whisk
  • 2 mixing bowls

Instructions

  1. Transfer the dry ingredients into a single mixing bowl and use the whisk to mix them. Do this until the mixture is evenly blended.
  2. Repeat the same process with the wet ingredients in a separate mixing bowl. Make sure the wet mixture reaches a smooth consistency.
  3. Transfer the mixtures to a single mixing bowl and blend them properly until you achieve the desired colour.
  4. Transfer the mixture into the bath bomb mould. When packing the mould, press the mixture firmly to occupy all the space. This prevents the bath bomb from cracking and breaking when being removed from the mould.
  5. Wait 8-10 hours before you remove the CBD bath bomb from the mould. From there, you are free to use your bath bomb straight away, or you can store it for future usage.

Recipe 4: Budget-friendly CBD bath bomb recipe

If you’re on a tight budget but still want to enjoy CBD-infused bath bombs, this recipe is the one for you. Also, this recipe is a good option for those in a hurry. Using this process, it can take as little as 3 hours and 15 minutes to have them ready. You will likely already have a number of the ingredients in your home.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz of baking powder
  • 4 oz of cornflour
  • 4 oz of Epsom salt
  • 1 tbsp of water
  • 1.5 tbsp of CBD oil
  • 4 oz of citric acid
  • 20-30 drops of essential oil
  • 3 tbsp of oil (almond oil, grape seed oil, fractionated coconut oil, avocado oil, or olive oil)
  • 3-5 drops of food colouring

Equipment

  • Whisk
  • Large mixing bowl
  • Small mason jar
  • Muffin tin or bath bomb mould

Instructions

  1. Place all the dry ingredients in the large bowl and mix them properly. Whisk them for about 30 seconds until they are even and free from clumps.
  2. Place all your wet ingredients in the small mason jar. Close and seal the jar tightly. Shake the ingredients vigorously until they are fully combined.
  3. Remove the lid on the mason jar carefully and pour all the liquid ingredients into the large bowl containing the dry ingredients. Use the whisk to blend the mixture. When pouring the liquid ingredients into the bowl, make sure you do it gently to avoid triggering the fizzing process. If you do, stir up the mixture to stop the fizzing reaction.
  4. The mixture will come together in clumps. Test it with your fingers by pinching a portion of the mixture. If the mixture retains some shape, you’re good to proceed to the next step. However, if the mixture still contains some powder, add some liquid to moisten it. If you have poured all the liquid ingredients from the mason jar, simply add more of the base oil in small amounts.
  5. Put the mixture into the moulds. Then, press the mixture down firmly into the moulds to make it compact. For larger-sized CBD bath bombs, fill a standard muffin tin three-quarters of the way up.
  6. Wait a little, then unpack the bombs from the moulds and give them some time to dry out. Don’t leave them in the moulds as they won’t set properly. Your CBD bath bombs will be ready for use and storage within a few hours. However, for the best results you should leave them overnight.

Recipe 5: A heart for lavender CBD bath bomb recipe

This CBD bath bomb incorporates the subtle, floral scent of lavender. The recipe makes ten bath bombs.

Tools

  • Measuring cups
  • Mixing bowl
  • Whisk
  • One pair of disposable gloves
  • Bath bomb mould(s)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of citric acid
  • 2 cups of baking soda
  • 2-4 tbsp of water
  • 1.5 cups of cornflour
  • A few drops of lavender essential oil
  • 250mg CBD oil
  • A few drops of red gel food colouring or beet juice

Instructions

  1. Add the citric acid, baking soda, and cornflour into the mixing bowl. Then, use your hand to blend them and remove any clumps.
  2. Mix in the wet ingredients slowly without activating the fizzing process. If fizzing occurs, add more dry ingredients and stir to stop the process. Make sure the mixture stays firm when you squeeze it in your hand.
  3. Fill your moulds tightly with the formula. Aim for an even surface at the top of your CBD bath bomb mould. Having an uneven surface may result in the cracking of your CBD bath bombs. Then allow the bath bombs to sit in the moulds for about 10 minutes.
  4. Transfer the bath bombs from the mould to a cookie sheet. Do this very slowly and steadily to avoid cracking or breaking your bath bombs. Ideally, you should leave the CBD bath bombs overnight to dry before using them.

Tips for picking the best CBD bath bomb recipe

You’ll no doubt experience certain challenges when making your CBD-infused bath bombs, especially if it’s your first time. For instance, the bombs may crumble when being removed from the mould. If this happens, don't worry – just sprinkle some water on the crumbled CBD bath bomb and mould them back again.

The best approach is to pick a recipe that seems simple and clear to you. If you're unsure, choose one that produces just one or two bath bombs. Also, go for a recipe for which the ingredients are readily available. Most importantly, be sure to follow the instructions carefully when making the CBD bath bombs.
