What is CBD vape juice?

What is CBD vape juice? These days, it’s hard to find someone who is not aware of CBD with all the buzz circulating around it. The more CBD becomes popular, so too do the methods of taking it. Sublingual, edibles, topicals like lotions and creams are just some of the ways people take CBD.

Since its introduction, CBD vaping is slowly claiming a place at the top of the favourite ways of taking CBD. Thanks to its bio-availability rate, CBD vaping has gained acceptance even among the not so young. Advanced technology has simplified vaping equipment, making it easy for anyone to use.

If you are a novice, you only need a vape device and vape juice to enjoy your dose of CBD. Vape juice is specially formulated to be safe for you to inhale after the vaping device turns it into vapour.

In this post, we tell you what vape juice constitutes and answer a few questions you might have on vaping.

What is CBD vape juice?

Vaping enthusiasts choose this method as their preferred way to take their dose of CBD. These devices vaporise a special liquid known as CBD vape juice which the user inhales. It also goes by other names such as:

  • CBD e-liquid
  • CBD e-juice
  • & CBD vape

Sometimes it can be mislabelled as CBD oil. You should not confuse the two as CBD vape juice does not contain oil. In fact, regular oils are not safe to inhale. Vape juice constitutes three primary ingredients, namely:

  • vegetable glycerine
  • propyl glycol
  • food-grade flavouring

To make CBD vape juice, simply add CBD solid to the appropriate vape juice.

Vegetable glycerine

It is sourced from plants, and its sweet flavour balances the bitterness of glycol. The purpose of vegetable glycerine (VG) is to thicken the vaping juice. It is also irresponsible for clouds of vapour that users exhale.

Propyl glycol

It is colourless and odourless and acts as a carrier for flavouring. Propyl glycol is synthetic and safe for consumption and finds application in many industries such as cosmetics and medicine.

If you are allergic to this CBD vape component, as some people are, there are plant-based alternatives that carry the flavouring.

Flavouring

Our flavouring is food grade making it safe for your use. At Supreme CDB, we have various types for you to enjoy, including our Tutti Frutti to our Milkshake and Fizzy Cola flavours. But if you prefer the unflavoured CBD vape juice, go for it and enjoy the natural taste of CBD.

CBD

The solid form of CBD is mixed with vape juice to make CBD vape juice. Our hemp-derived CBD is sourced from quality strains to ensure we give you the best. You can have your CBD in either: Isolate, Full-spectrum CBD or Broad-spectrum CBD.

The ratio of vegetable glycerine to propyl glycol determines the thickness of the vape juice. CBD does not readily mix with Vegetable glycerine, so you need more propyl glycol to ensure proper mixing. That is why CBD vape juice is thinner compared to nicotine e-liquid.

Another thing you need to remember is that the percentage appearing on the package usually refers to the VG, not CBD. For the CBD concentration, check the ingredients list. Also, as mentioned, CBD vape juice does not contain oil. You should never substitute CBD vape juice with CBD oil.

Forms of CBD vape juice

After CBD is extracted from the hemp plant, we end up with different forms of CBD. All forms will give you similar CBD, and the choice depends on personal preference. We have three forms depending on the CBD used.

Full-spectrum CBD:

Full-spectrum CBD contains the entire profile of the hemp plant, including all cannabinoids, flavonoids, and terpenes. Our full-spectrum CBD has only the legal amount of THC  at below 0.3%.

Since THC compounds over time, avoid it if you have to take drug tests regularly, such as athletes, because it may cause a false positive.

Broad-spectrum CBD:

Broad-spectrum CBD has the complete profile of the hemp plant also but with THC removed. If you want to enjoy the benefits of all the hemp plant active compounds minus the THC, this is for you.

CBD isolate:

CBD isolate is the purest form of CBD. If you do not wish to consume any other active compound of the hemp plant, this is the way to go.

Vaping devices

There are different types of devices, from simple disposable ones suitable for beginners to the more complicated ones for experts. Everyone is covered. We will look at all of them to help you make the right choice.

Disposable vape pens

Disposable vape pens are the simplest to use and come pre-filled with CBD vape juice. They are the best choice for beginners since one does not need to adjust or add anything. Simply charge it and vape. You discard and get another one once you run through the entire amount of CBD vape juice.

Cartridges

These come pre-filled with CBD vape juice and are also discarded when the juice runs out. They are used with standard 510 batteries, and you just attach and use them. They are also suitable for beginners.

Refillable CBD pens

Refillable CBD pens comprise a tank, coil and attach to a battery. You refill the tank once the CBD juice runs out. You have more control and can even make your blend of vape juice.

Due to oxidation, the coils need to be replaced when the need arises. Some experts make their coils which is not recommended unless you know what you are doing.

All vape devices are not equal. Using CBD vape juice with big tank sub-ohm devices results in a lot of waste as it is thin, and you may even end up with leaks. They are more suited for nicotine e-liquid, which is thicker.

If you vape nicotine and CBD, you should have a dedicated vape device for each, as it is counterproductive to mix them. Nicotine is a stimulant, while CBD has the opposite effect.

How does CBD vaping compare to other methods

CBD vapes are easy and convenient to use. They are appealing to more people because of the ease of use. It takes only a few minutes for the CBD to reach the bloodstream. Another reason to opt for CBD via other methods is the amount of CBD that makes it to the blood is slightly more than 50%.

In contrast, if you take CBD edibles such as CBD gummies, you will have to wait for the body to complete the digestion process. It takes anywhere from one and a half to two hours before CBD enters your system.

The sublingual method also makes the CBD bioavailable as quickly as vaping. A decent amount of CBD also makes its way to the body when you take it sublingually. Applying CBD topically through balms and creams works immediately but only works on targeted areas.

Dosing CBD vape juice

Dosing CBD is unique for each person. It depends on several factors, such as body weight metabolism and the strength of the product you are taking. You can use your weight to determine your starting dose if you don’t have a doctor’s recommendation.

We advise starting with a low dosage and low concentration product. Depending on your requirements, subtly increase the dosage until you are satisfied.

The best CBD vape juice around

At Supreme CBD, we pride ourselves on providing our customers with quality CBD products at all costs, and that is why we do not put filler substances in our products. You will never find chemicals such as vitamin E acetate in our CBD vape juice. This chemical causes lung problems when vaped. Avoid vape juices that contain vitamin E acetate.

All our products are third-party tested for your peace of mind and quality assurance. We have various flavours in stock for you to choose from and enjoy quality without any worries.

Take away on what is CBD vape juice

CBD vape juice is used with a vape device to deliver your daily dose of CBD with ease and quickly. You don’t need prior knowledge to use vape devices. Disposable vape pens and cartridges come prefilled with CBD vape juice for your convenience. Have a dedicated vape device for CBD if you also vape nicotine e-liquid.

CBD vape juice primarily constitutes vegetable glycerine, propyl glycol, CBD, and flavouring though flavours are optional. Vape juice can have full-spectrum, broad-spectrum, and isolate. The choice is influenced by personal preference. Check the ingredients list on your packaging label to ensure the product you have is for vaping and does not contain any oil.
